DescriptionContains papers of Save the Children (SCF) officials and field workers, and of people associated with SCF. The papers concern both personal matters and the work of SCF, and comprise: reports; correspondence; press cuttings; photographs; personal accounts and memoirs; and associated personal items and memorabilia.

The papers offer some alternative and complimentary views on the work of SCF, and supplement papers concerning the early work of the Fund, which are less well represented within the collection. This includes the foundation of SCF, the establishment of nursery schools in the UK, and work overseas from the 1930s to the 1970s, including in the Middle East, post-war Europe, North Africa, and Korea.

The series also includes the Langley Collection of glass lantern slides, c 1921-1928, showing SCF's work in Europe and UISE activities.
